Eastern ENT Sinus and Allergy Center, P.A. was established in 1978 as Goldsboro ENT Associates, P. A. and evolved into Eastern ENT Sinus and Allergy Center, P.A. in October of 2001 to reflect our larger service area. Dr. Daniel Whitley, Jr., F.A.C.S., joined the practice in 1988 and now serves as its president. Dr. Michael D. Johnson, F.A.C.S., joined the practice in 1993 and Dr. J. David Cunningham, F.A.C.S., joined the practice in 2001.
The practice includes general otolaryngology and sub-specialty interests; head and neck surgery; sinus surgery; otology; audiology with hearing instrument dispensing; ENG/ABR; Otoacoustic Emissions; allergy testing and treatment; videostroboscopy and speech evaluation; Somnoplasty; and sleep diagnostics and CPAP dispensing.
The practice consists of three locations including the 7400 square foot Central Office on Medical Office Place in Goldsboro, the Sleep Diagnostic Center also on Medical Office Place in Goldsboro, Carteret Sleep Diagnostics Center in Morehead City and the Clinton Office with adjoining Sleep Diagnostic Center on Balsey Street in Clinton.
The practice utilizes the latest, modern clinical and diagnostic equipment including; videostroboscope recording, Somnoplasty radiofrequency generator, Allergy RAST, Audiology testing booths; Otoacoustic emission, ENG/ABR, wall mounted binocular scopes, spirometer. All patient information, claims and billing are facilitated electronically using our secure system of networked PCs and electronic communications.
